At a time when conversations about Israel/Palestine are deeply charged, many of us struggle to stay in relationship with loved ones whose perspectives differ from our own. This three-part course will explore how American Jewish trauma lives in our bodies (based largely on the work of Resmaa Menakem), shapes our politics, and shows up in interpersonal dynamics. Drawing on somatic practices, historical context, and scenario planning, we’ll practice approaches for meaningful, values-aligned conversations—along with tools for setting boundaries and caring for ourselves in the process.
